Starpack Students to Get Benson Sponsorship Again

Leading UK carton packaging specialist, Benson Group, is again involving itself in the sponsorship of the Starpack Schools and Student Awards for 2011, following an extremely impressive showing from the entrants for the 2010 awards. Nikki Clark, head of graphic design at Benson Group, said: "We were very impressed with the level of innovative concepts and the quality of the finished samples produced from last year's brief."

With regard to the company's continued involvement in the awards, Nikki added: "We are committed to developing the links between education and commerce, and to help promote the UK packaging industry to the designers of the future. Judging by the results from the last awards British design has a great future ahead of it! The work submitted from both schools and colleges was of an extremely high standard."

Nikki adds that the company has already seen much interest in the two design briefs that it is involving itself with this year: "Both categories offer plenty of scope for design flair and originality, and I am already looking forward to seeing the finished entries, and then undertaking the difficult process of judging."
