Medica Packaging to Exhibit at Pharmacy Show 2011

September 2011

Pharmacy Show Stand Number B110

NEC, October 9 and 10, 2011

Medica Packaging, the pharmaceutical packaging specialist company of the Benson Group, has announced that it will exhibit at the forthcoming Pharmacy Show, taking place at the NEC, Birmingham, on October 9th and 10th 2011, on stand number B110.

Pharmaceutical packaging products from Medica include printed cartons, patient information leaflets, and printed self-adhesive labels, all produced from one single site in Crewe, Cheshire.

The Pharmacy Show has established itself as the industry's leading sourcing and CPD education event for UK pharmacy, claiming some 84% of all pharmacy owners now recognise the show as the most important sourcing event for UK pharmacy.

The show works with, and is supported by, all key industry bodies and associations, including the National Pharmacy Association, the Pharmacists' Defence Association, The Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and the General Pharmaceutical Committee.

"I am delighted that Medica Packaging will be able to exhibit at this event and meet with a wide range of industry decision makers in such a short space of time," commented Deborah Greenwood, Sales Director, Medica Packaging. "With literally thousands of pharmacy products and services on show it is definitely the right place for us to be networking with the industry's key buyers."

The key point of focus for Medica Packaging will be its ability to provide a trio of packaging elements - printed cartons and self-adhesive labels, including Braille, and patient information leaflets. "We also expect to show a number of highly innovative packaging solutions," added Deborah Greenwood. "Topics for discussion at the event will include the latest legislation regarding patient information leaflets, with particular reference to the point size being used for text, which has an immediate effect on the overall size of the leaflet. The team from Medica Packaging will also be keen to offer advice on the latest anti-counterfeiting measures."
