New Label Sales for Medica Packaging

Medica Packaging, the pharmaceutical packaging business of the Benson Group, has announced the appointment of Andy Riggs as Business Manager, Labels. The appointment follows the successful purchase and installation of label production equipment at the Crewe-based business earlier this year.

Andy brings with him over 30 years of experience in the label sector, including senior roles at some of the UK's foremost pharmaceutical label producers. Most recently Andy was Sales Director of MY Healthcare, now Nampak Healthcare.

Medica Packaging, best known for its folding carton and patient information leaflet production, installed a seven-colour Gallus EM340S printing press with a Scantech VisionTrack rewind and inspection machine in February of 2009.
