Benson Group Supporting Local Junior Rugby

Benson Group, headquartered in Bardon, Leicestershire, has confirmed its continued support for the local Ashby Rugby Club, with sponsorship of the club's Under-14 team.

The mini and juniors section at the club continues to go from strength-to-strength, with over 240 children regularly training and playing both tag and full contact rugby. The club has twice won the Martin Johnson Community Rugby Award, with Martin coming along to the club last year to train two of the teams, present the most recent award, and patiently sign autographs and have his photograph taken with all of the children.

Success at Ashby Rugby Club continues through 2008, with two players from the Under-14 squad training with the Leicestershire county squad; the Under-13's remaining unbeaten in all of their matches; and the Under-10's playing in front of a full house at the Leicester Tigers ground in a Cup Final.
