Acquired by the Benson Group in 2006, Newcastle-based Print Design & Graphics Ltd (PDG) is a specialist packaging printer with a focus on the UK chilled food sector. The firm was established in 1984 and is focused on the production of carton board packaging. Clients include leading convenience food manufacturers Greencore and Campbell's.

The company employs over 150 personnel at its purpose-built facility occupying 80,000 sq ft on Tyneside, where the Benson Group continues to invest in further high quality production equipment. Recent installations at PDG have included two new gluing lines, a new cutting and creasing system, and an IT system.
