In addition to creating innovative product for customers ourselves, innovative concepts are also sought through partnerships with other packaging specialists, and via the latest developments from equipment suppliers, where the Benson Group is often seen as the company of choice for testing new product introductions.

Graphic design resources for the Benson Group are provided for both food and pharmaceutical packaging products. These can either be enhancements to existing designs, or can be created from scratch, with designers linking their packaging know-how to customer requirements to deliver designs that have both shelf appeal and make the best use of the materials available.

The design department at Benson Group combines both graphic and typographic expertise with the experience and understanding of working with cardboard based products. This combined know-how also integrates with a thorough understanding of both food and pharmaceutical market requirements. Full CAD systems are in use at all four company sites. The graphic studio facility at Medica Packaging is utilised by sites throughout the group, and is enhanced by the use of a creative designer at the Leicester operation.
