Standards begin with production, and the creation of quality product free from errors. Particular focus is provided with regard to text creation issues, and the accuracy of information provided for patient use. Line segregation is adhered to, removing the potential for the accidental introduction of incorrect products into the system, and this is aided by the use of code reading equipment to eliminate any incorrect or poor quality prints from the production cycle.
The ISO9000 quality management standard is enhanced with the addition of the PS9000 pharmaceutical packaging materials standard.
With regard to personnel, the OHSAS 18001 ensures the required level of health and safety is observed throughout the business, whilst the "Investors in People" accreditation helps to provide a continued focus on staff training and development.
