The team of five Mo-growers, under the leadership of Sales Director Jonathan Bostock, included Duncan Cook, Martyn Thorpe, Colin Reader and Pete Abell. The hard work is now done: razor’s may come out!
So inspirational was the experience that one of the team took to poetry to detail his delight:
Colin Reader:
AN ODE TO THE MO
You grew on me all through November
You were the best friend a man ever had
You made me look like a 70s Porn Star
You made me feel like an old Brillo Pad
In the end it was just you and me in the bathroom
In the end you looked like an old shaby rug
In the end with my new Gillette Pro Glide Razor
In the end you just went down the plug
Good news we raised lots of money
Good news we got through the itch and the jeer
Good news we were the Five Hairy Box Making Amigo’s
Good news you can join us next year
Thank you to all who donated
Thank you for a time to remember
Thank you for all your good wishes
Thank God it’s the start of December!
Duncan Cook: “So no more mo from now to next Movember. No wonder December is the month of glad tidings and good cheer!”
Captain Jonathan Bostock: “I would like to thank everyone for their support and donations, the team have raised an impressive £378, all of which will be put to good use by the charity concerned I am quite sure.”
Donations: current total £378. You can still add to this amount: the Hairy Box Makers will not be concerned over your late arrival!
